I hope that when you left for home, you will have exceeded your expectations and had good memories alongside with good friends.
Dear Guests,
Our project is in the scope of Erasmus + Programme Main Action 1: Individual Learning Mobility and its budget is Euro 21.019,00. As we, Ondokuz Mayıs University project and innovation Youth Group and our participators Turkey, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia and France, together participate in this project. Every participator country has three youth leader or worker affiliates with in project. Our project participators are Ondokuz Mayıs University and Samsun Medical Industrial Clustering Association. Our Project instructors are Prof.Dr. Sadettin Kapucu, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Demiryürek, Lecturer Hiroko Kawamorita and Departmental Manager Mustafa Yıldız. Our project’s activities started in 14thof August and will last in 21st of August.
I would like to talk briefly about what is our project topic.
Dear Guests,
In this century, which we live in one of the main subjects in competition environment, is the information economy. When we look at the developed countries policies towards education, we see that the highest value-added information source comes from STEM area, which means the foundation of the information economy is STEM. STEM is created from the first letters of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and it means the integration of each realms. Every kind of information has the potential of becoming an economic value either less or more. However, the highest potential that can turn into economic scientific value is in the realms of fundamental sciences such as physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics; after them realms of sciences such as medicine, computer sciences and so on comes as using those fundamental sciences together highly intensively. Every individual should be thought in accordance with this truth. Today, our universities follows a path goes through based on memory information yet there is not enough effort on how they can solve problems with their on creativity, how they can solve problems through the information they gained from. ın the undergraduate programs at least fifty lecture provides information about their subjects. Post- graduate programmes and research and development programmes has the capacity to provide more innovations and more quality information. Here I would like to remind your one of the quotes from former prime minister of Finland Esko Aho where Finland had -6% growth rate and then became one of the most innovative countries in Europe. He said “ Research and Development is translating Euros into information. Innovation is translating Euros to information.” Every year, 78% of the patents taken are taken with the level of junior school education. Then our main problem is not with the information but how the information will be used. In the recent years, our universities opened new innovation and entrepreneurship classes.
Today, the only way known how to transport the information into service and value added knowledge is making innovation. ın the world there are over 300 ways to make innovation. Among them TRIZ has an important place and called the science of innovation. TRIZ comes from Russian initials "Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadatch" means the theory of inventive problem solving. TRIZ is a method, which provides us how to make invention with scientific information grounded on systematic methodology. This method is used by almost all of the international cooperations and firms. However, the lack of TRIZ experts prevents it to become widespread. Various industries and realms already solved the problem you are solving as you are dealing in this youth project. This solutions need to be applied to your problems.
Examining hundreds of thousands of patents mutual features makes TRIZ. Enhancing one or two of the 39 physical parameters obtains all the patents that have been examined. In this case, it is realised that enhancing one parameter makes others worsen and when both parameters are enhanced the features of the product enhanced is what is observed. To get rid of these contradictions 40 inventive/creative principles are adopted.
- The most creative solutions are the ones that can describe the contradictions and can exterminate them.
- The most creative solutions are the ones that can turn the dangers and weaknesses into benefits.
The 40 principles of TRIZ after its first foundation is innovated in 1946–1971, ARIZ-Algorithm of Inventive Problem Solving 1959–1985, principles of variance1973–1985, 76 standard solution 1975-1985, natural effects 1970-1980, the evolution patterns of technical systems 1975-1980, usage of sources, perfection theory and so on. Today, it continues it journey as I-TRIZ.
To sum up,
TRIZ as is, demonstrates us how to solve problems with limited number of parameters, creative principles and unlimited number of problems rest upon scientific information, systematic, algorithms and methodology.
The entrepreneurs are the ones who distinguish the potential of information’s commercialisation and invest in it. As is, the most important actors in commercialisation of information are undoubtedly entrepreneurs. Because of that we selected our project topic as TRIZ for entrepreneurs and aimed to teach on the subject the youth workers, leaders, instructors and counsellors. Because to enhance the abilities, information and talents this group means a lot.
The procedure is used successfully because of the fact that the physical parameters found social substitutes and it is used to solve social and common problems. In different countries among different age groups are performed applications.( www.ideationtriz.com).
The main aim is to increase the cultural and social interaction, reach the opportunities and curing their social problems, create sources for themselves, being innovative, taking risks, and gaining foundational abilities to change the community as well as give information about TRIZ and entrepreneurship, increase the capacity of ability for youngsters who couldn’t participate actively in the society.
In accordance with this aim, the project, and entrepreneurship and at the foundational level TRIZ education will be provided well-suited to young leaders or workers in this project.
Before I finish my speech, I would like to thank to our project partners Ondokuz Mayıs University and Samsun Medical Industrial Clustering association executives. Also, I would like to thank to Atakum municipal honourable İshak Taşçı, Grand Atakum Hotel, Silverline, Chickenesh executives who contributed to our project.
I wish to be our project auspicial to our country I salute everyone with respect.
